Clindamycin & Adapalene Gel -  The gel is the best agent for the treatment of acne, scars, and pimples. The medication belongs to a group of antibiotic medications known as lincomycin antibiotics. The gel is a combination medication generally used to treat inflamed acne. The antibiotic properties in the Clindamycin & Adapalene Gel work by preventing and stopping the growth of harmful bacteria. The gel helps in minimizing the formation of excessive natural oil which is known as sebum and reduces the inflammation caused due to acne. The gel medicine may take a few weeks to show its full effects, keep using it for as long as recommended by the doctor to see its best results. 

Working Mechanism of Clindamycin & Adapalene Gel

The medication is composed of two medicines known Clindamycin and Adapalene. Adapalene 0.1% w/w helps to decrease the number of acne lesions. On the other hand, Clindamycin 1% w/w works as an antibiotic which helps to stop the growth process of anti-bacterial. Collectively, these medicines work together to prevent or slow down the growth of harmful bacteria and stop the growth of acne. The medicine is available in cream formation. Directions to Use Clindamycin & Adapalene Gel


Wash the face with warm water and clean with a damp cloth. Now apply a thin layer of the medicine to the affected area. Use twice a day as the doctor prescribed. But make accurate consultation. Do not consume this medicine directly. May cause a serious problem.  Please avoid medicine contact with your eyes, mouth, and an area of broken skin.

  2. Do not apply the gel in any sunburnt, broken, or any sunburnt areas of the skin. Notify the doctor immediately if you experience any unusual dryness, redness, itchiness, or peeling of the skin. 
  3. The medication may make your skin a little sensitive to sunlight. Apply proper sunscreen or wear protective clothing before stepping out of the house. 
  4. Inform the doctor beforehand, if you are allergic to the gel medicine or any of the active components present in it to rule out any possible side effects.
